- This scene is where Johann Gutenberg finishes the printing press. The printing press was invented in 1440. Johann invented this to help produce books and articles faster. The invention of the printing press helped get books in more people's hands. Before they had to be copied by hand and it was a long and grueling process and they were very expinsive.
- In this scene, Martin Luther nailing the 95 thises onto the catholic churches door., Martin Luther was an Augustinian monk who started the Reformation. He was also the leader of the protestants. The protestants were the people who supported the Reformation
- I this scene Galileo is in the process of proving Copernicus's theory. Galileo was an Italian scientist who improved the telescope and discovered that the sun and the moon were not smooth against popular belief at the time. He also proved Copernicus's theory of the sun being in the middle of the solar system. The catholic church did not view the men well because they went against their belief.
