- She's laughing like a crazy person over this whole situation.
- I actually got away with it and I'll be able to do whatever I want.
- Jack Noonan listens carefully from his seat, hearing a laugh that almost sounds manic come from the other room where Mary Maloney resided last.Noonan stands up and quietly, yet abruptly, walking and entering the living room with a curious look.Once entering the room, he notices Mary Maloney laughing hysterically alone, almost crazed. He would overhear Mary confess to the crime to herself, causing Jack to quickly tell the others.

- It all makes sense then!
- Now that you're saying that...
- I suspect Mary was the killer of Patrick.
- Jack Noonan returns to tell the others about what he saw and heard, concerned about Mary being the one who may have killed her husband. The others are astonished at the revelation. Jack would go on to talk about the whole situation with the others, going over some evidence or parts of the story that didn't quite add up with each other from Mary Maloney's story.

- You're under arrest!
- We'll worry about that after your trial
- What will happen to me and my kid?
- They all come out of the dining room to confront Mary and just as they do, Mary is standing near the door again with a frightened look, with a look that says she was caught. They quickly take her into custody and recite the laws and any rights she may have had. Mary would ask what would happen to her and her child, and they would only answer that it would be a matter of time before having to worry about that situation in the future and that she'll be held for her crime.
