- George and Lennie by the river camping there for the night, talking about not getting in trouble by Lennie.
- They found a job at a farm, getting some money for them to get. They are getting closer to their american dream.
- Candy has his dog since it was a pup and they had to kill it because it was very old. Lennie got a pup he takes care of it.
- Lennie got in a fight with Curley, Lennie got hurt on his face. Curley hand broke because Lennie hurt his hand.
- Lennie kills the pup by accident he doesn't know his own strength. Curely's wife comes in talks to him, but she puts his hand on her head and kills her by her neck.
- George had to kill Lennie because he was doing a lot of bad things, George tired to make it better by saying things like we are going to have a nice little farm.
