A duck and his mother come across a river. The river was wide and long with a strong current. The duck and his mother have to cross the river to get home after a long day.
The mother duck flies across the river as the little duck watches. The mother crosses the stream with little issue. The mother duck gets to the other side and waits for the baby who is on the other side in shock.
The baby duck lingers on the edge of the bank, the baby duck is scared. The baby duck is apprehensive about crossing the river because he can't fly or swim. His mother tells him to cross but he just stares at the river trying to gain the courage to cross.
He stands at the edge of the water for a long time and then he finally finds the courage to try and fly and goes for it. The baby duck jumps and fails to fly, he then falls into the river with a big splash. Going more and more down stream the mother starts to freak out not knowing what to do since she cannot swim either.
The baby duck tries to swim but doesnt know how. The mother duck starts to fly after her baby on the side of the river. The baby goes deeper and deeper down stream, he tries to swim but the current is to strong.
The mother ducks flies after the baby but begins to fall behind. The river starts to curve and bend and become faster. The mother duck can not catch up and starts to lose sight of her baby.
