- In the plains it was hot in the summer, cold in the winter, there were few trees, and there were streams. There was also valleys and rolling hills.
- In the great plains, the native Americans ate corn, berries, and Bison. When they killed the bison they wasted none of it because of their respect for nature.
- The great plains native Americans lived in teepees. Teepees had a hole in the roof for smoke to escape from the fire pit in the middle. The great plains Native Am Women were housekeepers and also were very good at art and carving. The men of the tribe would go out on mass bison hunts.
