We are the Catawbas, we live in The Piedmont region.
The Catawba's use the natural resource called clay to make pottery.
We used the canoes to travel down or up the river to trade with other natives.

This is all the natives, They traded corn, other plants and fish. They traded what they couldn't get like the yemassee would give cherokee and catawba live crabs.
Catawba
The Catawba natives lived in Wigwams during the summer they were made of tree bark and animal skin. Wattle and daub during the winter they were made of sticks, grass, and mud.

The woman stayed back to make pottery from clay, took care of the children, and sometimes got stuck making the houses. While the men traded, hunted, and made the canoes from cutting down trees.
