  • The 50s
  • I'm Chuck Berry! Don't flip your lid.
  • The 60s
  • I JUST MET THE BEACH BOYS!!
  • The 70s
  • ROGER! I NEED ANOTHER GALILELO!
  • Freddie Mercury
  • The 50s was a huge decade I'm sure a lot of us wish we could've experienced. Or maybe some of us don't. In the 50's, Chuck Berry was one of the biggest musicians. Mostly known for "Johnny B. Goode". He was for the USA, but he didn't have much affect on it. Though, he did write "Back in the USA". He helped define "rock n' roll" in the 50s, and people liked him for this. He was a big hit. Life as a Rockstar for Chuck Berry was hard, as he was discriminated towards. But he didn'tt let this stop him from achieving his dreams.
  • The 80s
  • During the 60s, the Civil Rights Movement was going on. As an escape for this, many people went to music, as we may use to escape from things today. The Beach Boys were well known in the 60s, especially from their hit called "Wouldn't it be nice" released 1966. The beach boys brought the "beachy" music to California at the time, and their music spoke to teenagers transitioning into adulthood. While the Civil Rights Movement was going on, the Beach Boys did continue to sing about, girls, high school, surfing, and having fun. This made people happy, and that's why the Beach Boys music was a good escape.
  • The 90s
  • Women's Rights were huge in the 1970s! The movement was one of the bigger movements people had seen. Freddie mercury, known as the lead singer from the band named "Queen", supported these rights very much. Not only was there the women's rights going on, but gay rights were going on as well. Many people loved Freddie Mercury/ Queen, but others didn't. As many people know, Freddie was known as a homosexual. For those fighting FOR those rights, many people supported Queen. It was definitely hard for Freddie, as he felt as an "outcast" or something different. It wasn't easy to do what you love when people are always judging you.
  • The 00s
  • During the 80s, movements were finished, and people were happy. Except when an unknown disease came around. In June of 1981, AIDS was discovered. A sexually transmitted disease that had no cure. Many people were dying from this. So, in the process, many fundraisers were set up. Madonna, raised 1.7 million dollars for the AIDS donation. It was a very emotional time, and many other celebrities' wanted to help raise money for this cause as well.  Many people supported Madonna, who also helped raise money for the unfortunate cause.
  • I'm Madonna.
  • During the 1990s, many riots were going on. It was a very good time in the 90s. Mariah Carey didn't have a huge impact on the world. But people still supported her anyways! She helped other famous people get to where they are now. She has always felt successful, even though sometimes she may feel a little judged.
  • Everyone loves my Christmas album. I'm Mariah.
  • Alicia Keys was someone many people looked up to. Not only did she create good music, but she also helped charities that were important. She was very serious about her carrier, and wanted to help the world, rather than just focus on herself.
  • That girl is on fire!
