- I work at a place called cell animation, cell animation is working on helping scientists in getting a better understanding of the world.
- cell animation is creating visualizations that are so small to us there almost invisible. they do this by doing sets of experiments. all of the information they gather can be used to create a hypothesis on the cell.
- you may be wondering what my job is? its too take these ideas that my partners come up with and turn them into animations. these animations help other scientists see how a cell works better from the cells point of view.
- one example of a cell type we have found is called a immune cell. these crawl around inside of our bodies too find pathogenic bacteria (this causes diseases inside of our body)
- a protein called actin is in charge of the immune cell. the actin is apart of the cytoskeleton. actin filaments are always being taken apart and put back together, this helps the cytoskeleton play a very important role in our cells
