- Hatshepsut was the first female Egyptian Pharaoh who was also a warrior and leader who helped her people prosper.

- My husband, Thusmose II, has passed.
- I am his regent
- I have as much right to rule as a man does!
- I will crown myself Pharaoh
- I can rule like a man and show myself as one too!
- Hatshepsut was represented as a women but wanted to portray herself as a man because she had as much right to rule as any male.
- My mother is showing me of lower status to her even though I am a man!
- Thutmose III was Hatshepsut's step son and she referred to him as King but only in name
- She began her reign by marrying her daughter to Thutmose III (step son) to secure her position
- This will put me in a very powerful position.
- You shall marry my daughter Neferu-Ra
- I will employe people to help me build my projects
- It impressed the Pharaohs after me so much that they wanted to be buried near it. Which is known as the Valley of Kings.
- The beautiful Deir el-Bahri was my most impressive building
- I will send out military expeditions to Syria and Nubia
- I have to uphold the tradition as warrior-king!
- My expedition to Punt was very successful
- The ship was full of ivory, myrrh trees, and animals. A king before me has never done anything like this before.
- Hatshepsut had given her step son Thutmose III command of the armies and made him a general before her death
- You will have command of the armies
- After finding her mummy recently Egyptologists found that Hatshepsut died in her fifties from a tooth pull that had caused an abscess
- I will erase all of Hatshepsut from history! Nobody will know she was a Pharaoh
- I am in charge now!
- After Hatshepsut died Thutmose III took over reign after her. He tried to erase any memory of her. However, was not successful and she still stands as the first and most successful female Pharoah
