- I think it would be good for the team to implement the Exploration, Preparation, Implementation and Sustainment (EPIS) method to adapt how our lesson plans can make content more engaging for students within the spectrum of autism. According to a article I read, students were able to make progress through the use of strategies like peer-meditated instruction, self management and video modeling which allows students to perform tasks as they socialize with others and conduct tasks independently (Suhrheinrich, Schetter, England, Melgarejo, Nahmias, Dean, Yasuda, 2020).
- I read the article you sent me Mr. Sunderland and that's a great idea! I will see if our district can offer a training for autism awareness during our department meetings. I will also record the meetings so that our staff can review all the important social, cognitive, and behavioral factors that impact our students with autism.

- we must all be on board with understanding how autism plays a role in the students education. Not only can our staff learn more from obtaining training, we can also adapt our curriculum to assist future students within the autism spectrum!

- HLP 3 Collaborate With Families to Support Student Learning and Secure Needed Services.Parent Portal allows parents to have communication with schools for the SAUSD. Moreover, it also provides access to students attendance and grades and is updated regularly through the online platform which allows for easy access at the parents convenience.https://www.sausd.us/parentportal

- Your daughter is doing great in science, however, I noticed she has been having difficulty with the reading portions of her assignments. I would like to let you know how SnapRead works over the phone, so at home, Christina can use her accomodation at home. How does that sound Ms. Ramos? Great! So what that the program does is highlight text for your daughter to follow a long with readings. She just has to move the cursor and select text she wants read to her.
