- Like in this story we are experiencing very similar actions here in the United States. Lobbying has become a huge part of our political system and without a lot of money it is difficult to petition those in charge. The original intentions of lobbying was for organizations and citizen initiatives to petition and educate legislators on community issues and ways to fix them. However, lobbying has quickly turned into large corporations paying legislators in one way or another to pass laws that benefit them. [1]

- There are still many unknowns about the future under our current lobbying system. Like Pig there are many people using grassroot movements to try and counter the corporations power. The story ends after the pig runs off to gather the animals together. This is to show that, like in real life, we don't know what the future holds. Will pig be successful in countering the deer? Will the forest live in harmony once again? This is up to you to decide. If we can band together and stop these corporations we too can live fulfilling lives.
