- Chapter 2-4
- Brian is flying with the piolet, on their way to Brain's Dad's house.
- The piolet dies of a heart attack and Brian had to land the plane because it was running low on fuel. He crashes into the lake and realises he s all alone and now is forced to survive on his own.
- Brian makes a shelter and starts to focus on what's most important.
- Brian finds some berries and after filling up on them he feels sick for what seemed like for ever. He later came across some raspberries.
- He it attacked by a porcupine, ad gets his leg impaled by 8 needle sharp spikes.
- The night after the attack, Brian had thrown the hatchet at the porcupine making sparks, he realised that that was what h needed to do in order to make a fire. After awhile of trying he finally caught sparks and made fire.
