- Tom is arguing with his wife. The wife is very agressive and they hate each other.
- Tom takes a walk into the wilderness and comes across a black man who seems to be the devil.
- Tom and his wife are arguing again about Tom seeing the Devil.
- Mrs.Walker wants to find the Devil her self and she ends up seeing him in the forest.
- (This goes with the 6th box) Tom is now dead and the Devil has set his home and life on fire.
- (This is supposed to be with the 5th box) The wife is now dead and an apron is hanging on a tree. Tom is paying the Devil his debt in front of a church. The church represents how later in the story Tom goes to the church in hopes that he will be saved.
