- in Joan's teenage years, she cut her hair and changed her clothes to look like a man. she became a professional knight and horse rider.
- she rode on the back of a horse to see the king and tell him that there was a battle coming. The king told her to go to France to get people to fight.
- everyone in France cheered for her because the news got there before she did. she found the people that were going to the battle.
- she lead the fighters into battle against England in 1429. she got wounded and captured.
