- At the beginning a man says that he is not crazy. It turns out that this man is the narrator of the story. He says his illness doesn't hurt him it helps him.
- Climax
- Climax
- The narrator then starts to mention an old man. It turns out that man works for this old man. But the narrator wants the ol man dead because of his eye.
- Falling Action

- Come on in.
- The narrator then tries to kill the old man for 8 nights. He will only kill him if he sees the eye. So he waits until the night the old mans eye is open.
- Resolution
- I did it ! The old man is dead! I killed him!
- One night the man walks into the old mans room with his lantern. He's been doing this for days now. But this night was different the man eye was open. The man kills the old man by suffocating with the bed. The Old man is dead.
- When the old man was being killed he shrieked. A nieghbor heard this Shriek and called the police. The police knock on the old mans door. The man answers and lets them in.
- The man lets them get comfortable and remains calm. But after a couple minutes he gets paranoid. The narrator then screams his confession. He tells the police that he killed the old man
