First the men and odysseus sneak into the cyclops cave home and look around while trying to not be noticed.
He herds his sheep and goes into his home where he finds Odysseus and his men waiting
They talk to each other this is where Odysseus asks for somthing as a sign of graditude for him being there and the cyclops does not give them anything and wants to eat him
they have to escape the cyclops so they distracted the cyclops and burned a spear to stab through the eye. after they get the spear through his eye they have to try and escape without being caught.
to get away they had to hid under the sheep and run to the water. they had to be quiet because the cyclops could only be able to hear them and not be able to see them.
after they got to the ledge they had to jump of into there boats. Odysseus was conceited and shouted out, after he yelled out the cyclops throws a large rock and misses so he shouts out again his real name and where he lives then another rock gets thrown and hits his other ship.
