Texte du Storyboard

  • Hamlet is confronted by the ghost of his father. The ghost urges Hamlet to seek revenge on his brother for murdering him and marrying his widowed wife.
  • In order to get revenge, Hamlet first pretends to be crazy. He then writes a play on how the late king was murdered to see the reaction of King Claudius, his uncle.
  • Hamlet goes to his mom's chambers to confront her about her late husband's death. He then hears a noise behind the curtain stabing it thinking it was King Claudius. To Hamlet's surprise, he had killed the royal adviser Polonius.
  • After learning about the death of Polonius, the king sends Hamlet to England to be killed. But Hamlet learns of this plan from the letter the king sends to England. Hamlet then changes the letter for his two friends to be killed and then returns to Denmark.
  • After learning about his father's and sister's death, Polonius's son Laertes seeks revenge for them. His sister, Ophelia was made crazy by Hamlet for his change in behavior towards her and her fathers death. Hamlet after escaping the ship comes across the deceased in the burial ground with his trusted friend Horatio. The king tells Laertes that Hamlet is responsible for his family's death, compelling Laertes to challenge Hamlet to a dual.
  • The king and Laertes make a plan to kill Hamlet by poisoning the wine he is to drink and poisoning the tip of the sword Laertes is using. But the plan backfires as the queen accidentally drinks the poisoned wine and Laertes and Hamlet exchange stabs with the same poisoned sword. After learning from Laertes that the king came up with this plan Hamlet stabs the king and everyone dies from the poison. This ends the story with Hamlet getting his desired revenge with no time to enjoy or claim it due to his death.
