- Far far away on the city of Athens Theseus stood with his father Aegeus. "Father why do 14 young people go every year and do not return?" saidTheseus"They do not go as slaves but as food for the minotaur!" replied his father. " But that is terrible!" saidTheseus, "I will go and kill the minotaur," exclaimed Theseus.
- The minotaur!
- Aegeus told Theseus that of killed the minotaur, he should change the black sails on his boat to white.Theseus and the otherAthenians sailed to Crete to seal their fate!
- I did it!
- They are met by King Minos and his daughter Princess Ariadne. As soon as she sees Theseus she falls in love with him immediately and decides to help him.
- Err.. yeah, great! Can't wait....!

- With the ball of string from Ariadne, Theseus made his way through the dark maze, every turn expecting to come faceto face with the minotaur! He did not have to wait long!
- Theseus managed to kill the minotaur by holding his horns and twisting them round until the minotaur grew weak. Then remembering he had to get out, he looked for the string and it was nowhere to be seen!
- Finally, Theseus escaped from the maze and left the island with Ariadne.
