  • Congratulations all Parliament members. We have passed the Stamp Act. Now, hopefully, we can gain back some of the money we lost during the French and Indian War.
  • Stamp Act
  • WHAT?! We are not buying newspapers with tax.
  • NewspaperShop
  • Hi, so, with the Stamp Act, you must pay tax and buy the "official" stamp with your paper.
  • I can't believe that the colonists aren't ordering anything from Britain because of the Stamp Act. We might loose our jobs! This is not good.
  • Pictured above is King George III congratulating the British Parliament for passing the Stamp Act in 1765.
  • We cannot take the Stamp Act any longer. We lost our jobs due to the colonist's boycotts. Please repeal the Stamp Act.
  • Pictured above is a British merchant trying to sell colonists newspapers. However, he was not able to sell them with the new tax that came with the Stamp Act. Due to this, the British merchant stopped making money and therefore lost his job.
  • The Stamp Act is now repealed...
  • Pictured above are three factory workers in Britain. Due to the colonists boycotting British goods because of the Stamp Act, they weren't getting any orders from the Americas. In the end, these workers lost their jobs.
  • Pictured above are two British workers complaining about losing their jobs to the Stamp Act. They really wanted the Stamp Act to be repealed.
  • Due to the colonists' boycotts, King George III, of Britain, repealed the Stamp Act.
