- Once upon a time there were three sisters. Psyche was the youngest and only one unwed of the three and very beautiful.
- All the attention that Pscyhe received made Aphrodite very jealous.
- Aphrodite visits with the King to ask that he sacrifices Psyche
- The King dropped Psyche on a hill. Eros the son of Aphrodite was sent to kill Psyche but was enchanted by her beauty and saved her. Rushing her to a secret house.
- Eros would visit Psyche every night to comfort and keep her company. But Psyche was never allowed to see Eros' face. or know his true identity.
- MANY YEARS LATER......
- Psyche told her sisters about the nightly visits from Eros, but they did not believe her.
- Psyche dropped candlewax on Eros' face to prove that he was not a monster.
- Eros leaves and stops visiting Psyche every night.
- Psyche goes to Aphrodite for help
- I will help you Psyche if you can complete 4 impossible task. 1. Sort out seeds 2. Obtain golden fleece from rams of the Sun 3. FIll a crystal flask with water from the River Styx 4. Visit Persephone in the Underworld and fill an empty box with beauty ointment but she may not open the box
- Psyche is able to complete all the tasks given to her by Aphrodite.
- Eros goes to ask Zeus to turn Psyche into a Goddess but the only way she can become a Goddess is to become his sister.
- Psyche becomes a Goddess and gets married. They lived Happily Ever After
