- Saul (Saint Paul's Hebrew name) breathed multiple threats against the disciples of the Lord. Hence why of this he went to the highest priest asking for letters to the synagogues at Damascus. Saul did this so if he saw any Man or Women he could bring them to Jerusulum.
- 2 Corinthians 11: 21 – 23
- Approaching Damascus left Saul with a terrifying message that had asked him to "Get up and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do". No other traveler could see this beside Saul which left him being blind from the light.
- Acts 27 - 28
- Saul and his followers fell upon a girl who started yelling "these men are slaves of the Highest God, who proclaim to you a way of salvation." Saul just turned away and ignored it. This, however left him caught and in prison.

- Saul had set sail that day to Italy. On their way, there was a storm with heavy winds which occurred them to have a shipwreck.
- They had a shipwreck on the island of Malta which had natives who were welcoming and kind. This led Saul to live here and returning to Rome a few months later and meeting the Jewish Leaders.
