- each side fought for their own beliefs, edging closer to war for human lives
- john brown was the head of the northerner . he fought in violent ways. this lasted two year
- 5 people died in this two year battle. john and his group where violent in their ways of freeing slaves
- this was the tipping point for the civil war.
- this was a result of the kansas and nebraska act. after the bleeding kansas it was repealed
