- Principle #1 - Genetic Variation Variation exists in the Bass species. Some bass are blue, others tan.
- Principal #2 - Overproduction and the Struggle for Existence Bass will always produce more offspring than the environment can support. Not all will survive.
- Principle #3 - Differential Survival and Reproduction The blue bass are easier for dolphin to spot in the ocean. The tan bass camouflage well.
- Principle #3 - Differential Survival and Reproduction Because the tan bass can camouflage well, they survive long enough to reproduce
- Principle #4 - Changes in Gene Pool Because tan bass have higher fitness, over time the frequency for the tan allele will increase in the gene pool
- And that's Natural Selection!
