- Benedick and Beatrice continue to mock each other
- Claudio and Hero are to marry but Don John tells Claudio that Hero has been unfaithful
- Benedick and Beatrice overhear their friends saying how much the other person has feelings for them
- At the wedding Claudio accuses Hero who faints from shock. Claudio was told that Hero was dead and was told to marry her cousin
- Claudio realises that he has married Hero and Benedick and Beatrice declare their love
