Texte du Storyboard

  • BALANCE
  • Every visual object takes of space. It’s “weight” can be dependent on many things. An object can be visually heavy if it is extraordinarily detailed or if it is big in size. It is important to balance the frame by offsetting these “heavy” objects with simpler, smaller, “lighter ones”
  • Example 1
  • Example 2
  • The fields were alive with the caws of crows and bleeting of the sheep.
  • The back portion of the scene is rather detailed with all of the trees, rocks and mountains. Balance it by having a large simple "less detailed" object such as a character up front.
  • Francis looked out at the majestic scenery before him.
  • Notice that this scene is more simple meaning that heavily detailed objects (or many objects) will fit nicely in the scene without being cluttered.
