- Jimbo and the DarkBy Shone Nixon
- One night, Jimbo was sleeping peacefully, until he needed to go to the bathroom. He was afraid to go to the bathroom, as he was afraid of the dark. But, few minutes later, he got the courage to go.
- But as soon as he saw the Darkness he felt scared again. He quickly went to the toilet and raced back to his safe bed.
- Next morning, while he was getting ready for school, he told his mum of his fear of the dark.
- His mum said, "You don't need to be scared. You're 8 years old!".
- Then Jimbo suddenly realized what a scaredy cat he had been. He wondered if his best friend Roman was afraid of the dark.
