- Donald Thomas is bragging about his dunking capability when Carlos Mattis, the Linden Woods top high jumper challenges Thomas to make a 6'6'' high jump.
- After changing, Thomas approaches and clears 6'6'' high jump easily and goes on to clear 7'
- Mattis tells Coach Lane Lohr that Thomas jumped 7' in high jump. The coach called him for practice after which he offered Thomas to join the high jump team.
