Beware of the Jabberwocky!
Rising Action
I will wait by the Tumtum tree until the Jabberwocky comes.
The poem takes place in the odd Wonderlandian world depicted in "Through the Looking Glass" by Lewis Carroll. He describes the land as a fantasy forest
Climax
I can do this!
The father of the hero warns his son of the Jabberwocky, a dangerous monster which lurks in the forest. He also tells his son of many other wild creatures that inhabit the forest.
Falling Action
I did it! I defeated the Jabberwocky!
The son obtains the vorpal sord and awaits the Jabberwocky by a Tum Tum tree. The Jabberwocky aproaches, a vile, evil thing.
Resolution
Callooh! Callay! Let's celebrate.
The faithful son fights the Jabberwocky with the mystical vorpal sword. He beheads the monster, a classic tale of good vs. evil.
The son triumphantly goes "galumphing back" home to his father, on defeating the Jabberwocky.
The father is extremely proud of his son and they both celebrate the death of the hated monster which terrorized their lives.
