Macbeth, the Thane of Glamis, and Banquo were returning back to their castle, victorious after winning the battle. On the way back, they noticed 3 unearthly figures.
ACT-II
Macbeth sent a private letter to his wife in which he tells her about the eerie incident that had happened. When he returned to his castle, Lady Macbeth urged him to kill King Duncan.
The King arrived at his castle. He was so pleased with their kindness that he sent a magnificent diamond for Lady Macbeth.
Lady Macbeth discusses her plan of killing King Duncan with her husband, Macbeth.
Lady Macbeth gets King Duncan’s guards drunk, and goes into his room in order to kill him on her own. She could not strike the blow because something about him reminded her of her own father.
Lady Macbeth persuaded Macbeth to kill King Duncan. Macbeth killed King Duncan in his sleep. He drove his dagger into his heart with a single plunge.
