- Dad, I'm sad because I do not understand what photosynthesis is or what cellular respiration is, and tomorrow I have my exam.

- Ok, they use the energy that they get from the sun, and use it to combine the carbon dioxide in the air and the water from the ground to create glucose and oxygen.
- So, plants go through the system called PHOTOSYNTHESIS by wich they get food form the sun.
- What is the glucose and oxugen for?
- But, what do they do with oxygen and glucose?
- How does the sunlight get inside of the chloroplast?
- On the outside of the chloroplast are little pores called stroma that it goes through then afterward, the sunlight is used to combine carbon dioxide from the air and water that we get from our roots to create glucose and oxygen. That is called Light independent reaction.
- The pigment in chloroplast, chlorophyll, in their leavse, absorb the energy from the sun. This is called Light dependent reaction.
- Okay, I get it now!, but what about cellular respiration?
- Then, What is the glycolysis and where does ihappen?
- Glycolysis is the breaking up of glucose to pyruvic acids. This occurs in the cell cytosol. The by-products of glycolysis are then entered into the krebs or ctric cycle which requires oxygen. During glycolysis and Krebs cycle we are taking NAD+ and we add hydrogen to make NADH, which drives our next stage called Electron Tranport Chain, in which exists the reduction of O2 and occurs the formation of water.
- Cellular respiration allow us to take glucose and turn it into energy. The cellular respiration produces 6 moles of Co2, 6 H20 moles, and energy. Glucose is the sugar which they use for energy.
- You forgot ATP Synthase right?
- Lastly, Carbon Dioxide and water are expelled as waste. In summary: Sugar+ Oxygen= Carbon Dioxide+ Water+ ATP (energy).
- I was just getting there. ATP synthase is the enzyme that synthesizes mitochondrial ATP from ADP and Pi (inorganic phosphate).

- In conclusion, Photosynthesis is essential for feeding plants and, at the same time, it is basic for all living beings. Many living things depend on the oxygen that is released during photosynthesis.Cellular respiration is the process in which the energy that our body uses for all the functions of the organism is released, thanks to ATP.
