  • The girls wait for their food as they notice there are other marching band members there....

  • Significance: This picture book was meant to show the sense of friendship within marching band. When Fatima is introduced to the friend group, the girls and her make memories together throughout the marching band season. Later on, another girl is introduced and the cycle continues. This is to show that everyone is welcome in the community.
