In the beginning of the play a fight breaks out between the Capulets and the Montagues in the streets of Verona.
Later that night Romeo, his cousin Benvolio, and his friend Mercutio snuck into the capulet's party where Romeo meets Juliet, and they instantly fall in love. But Tybalt knows that he is Romeo and wants to fight him but his uncle tells him he must not because if so he will be killed or banished.
Later that week Romeo and Juliet ask the priest to wed them. He agrees and by the afternoon they are married. Later Romeo gets news that Tybalt has sent Romeo a challenge. 
Tybalt looking for Romeo, finds Benvolio and Mercutio. Romeo returns, and is challenged by Tybalt, but refuses to fight. Mercutio draws on Tybalt and then Mercutio is fatally wounded. Tybalt then fights with Romeo, and is killed. Romeo is banished and flies town. The Nurse tells Juliet of Romeo’s banishment.
Juliet refuses to marry Paris, persisting in the face of her father’s anger Friar devises a plan: he will give her a drink that will make her appear dead and thus avoid the marriage, and will write to Romeo to tell him but the plan never reached Romeo so he thought the she was died Romeo didn't want to live without her so he poisoned himself.
When Juliet woke up and saw that her love had died she was in such distraught that she took a dagger to her chest and died
