Malala was in the hospital after getting shot with three bullets. The shooter was none other than the Taliban. Why, why would the Taliban hurt a girl who stood up for the right of education for every boy and girl. If it weren't for the doctors, Malala would’ve died from the bullets that entered her skull. She had a damaged nerve that erased some of her memory, gave her hearing loss, and paralyzed the left side of her face.

If we spent less money on war more on education, the world would be a better place
After Malala recovered, she met some officials, and one of them was Barack Obama. Malala was respectful to his family. She had told Barack her honest opinion about what he was doing. Malala said that she didn’t like the drone strikes on Pakistan and she said that if America spent more money on education and less on weapons the world would be a better place.

One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world.
Malala had to give a speech for every person in the world. Malala did not want to be known as “The girl who was shot by the Taliban” but known as “The girl who fought for education”. She wanted to be known as the girl who stands up for peace, the girl who uses knowledge as her weapon. Malala had given a speech that, at the end, said, “One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world.” In the end, Malala's world had changed, but she had not.
