In year 1031 after the finish of the Caliphate of Cordoba (the territory of the Muslims in Al Andalus),they became small taifas.

In year 1085 taifas period finish and Almoravid period begin (The Almoravids were Berbers from North Africa with capital in Marrakech)
BATTLE OF LAS NAVAS DE TOLOSA AND FINISH OF ALMOHAD PERIOD

In year 1086 the Almoravids defeat Alfonso VI in battle of Sagrajas.But in year 1145 the Almoravids desintegrated in cause of many problems in the Peninsula

In year 1147 after conquer Marrakech they enter to the Peninsula,and in year 1195 they defeat Alfonso VIII in battle of Alarcos.

In year 1212 almohads were defeated in the battle of Navas de Tolosa,and in year 1224 they left the Peninsula.From that moment on,only one Muslim resistance group remained:the Kingdom of Granada.
