A day in the life of Robyn - the Residential Services Manager (RSM)
Hi! I'm Robyn and I have been an RSM at UnitingCare for 18 months.
Making sure my teams have everything they need to do their jobs is my top priority.
Our desk phones are important to us. Families ring us to check in on their loved ones so we don't want them to be concerned. We also have all of our key contacts saved in there.
KEY IMPACTS FOR ACCS STAKEHOLDERSTechnicians will be on site during the upgrade (approx. 3-4 hrs)The phones will be offline for approximately 30mins during that period. The new phones won't have any saved numbers pre-loaded on them and will need to be reprogrammed.Users will need to learn how to use the new phones as there are some differences (e.g. dial # to call out instead of '0')
Involve us during the initial scheduling process so we can flag any inappropriate times for technicians to be on site/downtime to occur.Inform the Contact Centre of the downtime period so they can pass the message to families.Follow-up with us regularly in the lead up to the on-site upgradeProvide us with a one-pager to place beside the phones with the key differences called outPlace a handbook in the drawer next to the phone
Here are a few ways you can create a good change experience for me and my team during the CUCM to Mitel phone upgrade.
