Due to his fear induced state, he ran toward the nearest exit hastily, outrunning the few guards chasing after him. When he escaped, he had a quick moment of rest before being chased by guards once more.

- Leonard ran like the wind to escape the guards, refusing to meet his demise at that moment. He fled fast, his silhouette being the last thing the guards saw before Mr. Mead escaped fully. “Why did this happen? All because I wanted to take a walk at night, something I do every night with no problems?”. He was out of breath, confused and angry, this experience new and terrifying for him. Even through this, he continued running despite being so tired.

He found a tree and collapsed against it, catching his breath, feeling a brief sense of respite. He thought of a plan to get back to his home, though it was likely unsafe, and being raided for anything to make him more guilty of being recessive.
