Abolition Movement

Hello sir! Are you excited to go see Fredrick Douglass later today at his speech? I heard he is a very funny and dramatic to listen to. I plan to learn a lot about his experiences.
I am very excited! I have been waiting for him to be on the stage for a long time. I think it will be different because I have never seen an African American on stage, or ever in the 1830s. I can't wait!
I remember when I was a kid, having to be treated like a piece of furniture. But as I became an adult, I have learned from my experiences and hope to inspire others how wrong the idea of slavery it. I also hope that everyone in this room has learned that slavery should be stopped, in order for a better future.
From my harsh treatment, I have chosen to inspire others to realize the harsh treatment of enslaved Africans in this country. Since my newspaper, I plan to continue to travel around the world, educating others about the basis of slavery.
Wow, Fredrick! I am really inspired by your speech. I can't believe you actually experienced these hardships. You have definitely changed my view on slavery.
