- The officers bring Antonio to Olivia's house. He sees the Duke who asks why he is here. Sebastian claims he is in search of Sebastian. Cesario is confused by this as Antonio thinks he is Sebastian
- Act V Scene 1
- I'm sorry lady Olivia. They threatened me and I had no choice but to defend myself.
- Duke Orsino realizes that Olivia is in love with Cesario and that they are getting married. Viola is confused by this and Olivia wonders why Cesario now denies the marrige
- Act V Scene 1
- And died the day when Viola from her birth had numbered thirteen years.(5.1.244-245)
- Viola, it really is you.
- Andrew storms into the room claiming that Cesario had brutally fought him and Sir Toby. This does not make sense to the others as they were just with Cesario moments ago.
- Act V Scene 1
- I still wish to marry you.
- Sebastian arrives shortly after Andrew. He apologizes. Everyone is in shock and think there is two Cesarios.
- Sebastian are you.(5.1.221)
- Sebastian and Viola come into contact. They try to relate and eventually realize that they are siblings. The story has reached it's climax.
- Sebastian explains to Lady Olivia that Cesario was actually his sister and not him. After all of this confusion, they still get married.
- Lady, it seems you have been mistaken. I am very sorry.
