Moses Austin was a banker who wanted to start a colony in Texas. After years of waiting, his dream finally came true but he passed away soon after.

His son, Stephen, took over. Stephen got to Texas after Mexico got independence from Spain. Soon after, explorers started to come to Texas in herds.

Austin was arrested because of the ideas he brought to the leader. Many people back in Texas were furious. Santa Ana marched North in despite of them.
The Alamo went on for 12 days, but it finally stopped on March 6th when Texas won its independence. They state independant for around 10 years, some wanted a slave state and others didn't.
