  • Oh hello there, I know we have a close relationship and I love working with your son, however, I am unable to speak on this matter and cannot discuss any of your son's progress without permission from my supervising SLP. I can suggest requesting a meeting with our schools Principal though.
  • Hey Mrs. Tiffany, I am glad I caught you. As I have mentioned before, I don't particularly get along with your supervisoring SLP. I wanted to discuss my son's goals, progress, and maybe get some recommendations from you.

  • SLP: Hey Tiffany, you seem upset, what's bothering you?Mrs. Tiffany: Well, yesterday as I was leaving, I ran into Cam's mom and she asked me to speak with her about his progress, goals, and give her some recommendations. I told her I could not partake in that discussion without permission from you. I would not go against my Code of Ethics- Principle III. I did mention her requesting a meeting with our Principal if she did not wish to speak with you.
  • SLP: Good job Tiffany! Thank you for letting me know and informing her of other appropriate options. I will follow up on this.
