- Mystery
- When Jafar joined the guard he was in search of the men who had killed is parents. With his mind full of revenge and hate he fell into despair.
- One day while Jafar was patroling he noticed a small shop. Inside this shop had a parrot and a staff.
- The woman who owned the shop told of a curse to give the staff power. She told Jafar it would cost his soul to give the staff it's power.
- With his staffs power he was able to find the men who killed his parents and lock them away.
- He then also enchanted the Sultan to make him his right hand, since the staff did not have enough power to make him sultan.
- He then learned of a magical lamp to give him power to rule over the sultan. And that is how jafar came to be,
