- The Berlin Conference took place in Berlin, Germany. Otto Von Bismarck placed this meeting so he could discuss and divide up Africa among European powers.

- There was roads, schools, and more, built in Africa. Africans were allowed to go on the train but there was still segregation and such. Africans, despite them buying a first-class ticket, they wouldn't be allowed to simply because of their lower status and color.
