- Growing up, reading always came somewhat easy to me and it allowed me to understand our books better and increase my reading level. i grew up under parents that wanted the best for me to excel in school who prioritized learning above most things.

- writing wasn't always my strong suit, especially my handwriting my parents always wondered why i wrote like i was making broken cursive.
- i learned to read and write at an early age as my parents made sure i was ahead so i could do well. reading always felt like I was into the page and imagining what was really happening for me which helped me memorize a lot of the times the gist of a story.

- overtime as i got older school felt like a repeat of days that had already happened but even then i tried to do my best in school to make my parents happy. trying the best i can would lead me to get into Brooklyn college academy where i am today.
- being in this school for three years has taught me a lot of new things especially in ways i can speak to sound argumentative and voice my opinions. seeing this helped change my sense of self in my everyday life as i felt more open to voice my thoughts
