  • Good Morning. What is the purpose of this meeting?
  • I learned about Karen through her current team lead who was leaving the company. I was replacing her as project leader and wanted to know the challenges I faced. Her feedback on Karen was troubling.
  • "It's important for me to get to know each team member. I want your thoughts on the direction of the project and get your thoughts and ideas about what we can do to be successful. What do think?"
  • I scheduled one-on-ones with each team members; however, I was the most nervous about my meeting with Karen. Upon meeting her, I felt my heart racing and my palms sweating. I was prepared for the worst.
