- Gabriel: "Don't be afraid Mary. You've found favor with God. You'll conceive and bear son, who you'll name Jesus. He'll be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord will give him the throne of his ancestor David."
- Mary: "I'm still a virgin." Gabriel: " The Holy Spirit will come upon you, therefore a child will be born holy, and called Son of God. Nothing is impossible with God." Mary: "I'm the servant of the Lord. Let it be according to your word."
