- Yes, that is the Sorites Paradox. It hurt me that you said "heap of sand" because there is vagueness in the language ("heap"). This is a response to the paradox called Supervaluationism.
- Oh. I've also heard that vagueness is in knowledge because we can never know the exact percentage of sand which is the divide between heap and non-heap. Our knowledge is imperfect!
- Yes, my friend. That is called Epistemicism and it is another response to the paradox. It seems like my time has come to leave this material world.
