  • Ohhh, I see the difference now! How about free falling? what is it an example of?
  • In simpler terms, Uniform Acceleration has constant change by an equal amount and time while Uniformly Accelerated Motion, rate of acceleration does not change.
  • In Uniformly Accelerated Motion however is the opposite, the value of acceleration is constant and does not change. The velocity changes but at a constant rate. An object in UAM has non-zero but constant acceleration.
  • Free Falling is an example of Uniformly Accelerated Motion because as the object falls, the acceleration (due to gravity) is always 9.8 m/s². This is a constant acceleration for all falling bodies, regardless of their mass and weight. If you raise an object above the surface of the earth and drop it, it will start from rest and its velocity will increase by 9.8 m/s² meters per second until it hits the ground.
  • Wow, I think I get it now, thank you for explaining! Slay Bestie!
