  • The courtroom
  • My client is innocent
  • Yes, that animal attacked me and beat me up badly
  • You can't possibly believe him someone capable of doing that is capable of doing anything
  • Tom Robinsons part
  • I am innocent sir! I just came to help her and all of a sudden she jumped at me. I struggled at first but after that I ran.
  • The jury's conviction
  • We as the jury, find Tom Robinson guilty of the sexual assault of Ms. Mayella Ewell as well as the beating she had received from him. We sentence him to life in prison.
  • Mayella is on the stand. She is not sure about what happened the day Tom sexually assaulted her but after looking at her father she some how starts to remember everything that occurred that day.
  • Jail Cell
  • Tom is asked questions about what he was doing in the house, if he would have been capable to beat Ms. Mayella so badly. Tom's answers are direct and straight to the point. Everything tom is saying makes sense even if someone didn't want to agree because of his skin tone.
  • Escaping
  • What is left to live?
  • The Jury comes back from making their decision. All of the evidence and statement presented it would only make sense that Tom Robinson would be a free man. However, the jury convicts Robinson and the Ewells win the case. All of the hope Atticus and Tom had is all gone.
  • Funeral
  • This is where the song begins. A personal prediction is that Tom knew he wouldn't be a free man. He had even told Atticus to let the case go. In this story he writes the letter for his family and decides to end his life by trying to escape.
  • I’m sorry Helen and Kids I know I messed up bad I should never, never help I know I messed up bad cause I tried to helpI should never, never, never But I was doing a good cause...
  • Tom decides to try and escape jail by climbing a wall. A personal interpretation is that Robinson wanted to kill himself, he knew he had a very slim chance of climbing over the wall. Although, he almost made it where would he had gone as a free man? If he went back home they would have surely found him and charge him with escaping.
  • Tom Robinsons funeral may have not been as luxuries as this one but I can Image the pain his family might have went through after discovering his death. The end.
