  • Good Evening, ladies and gentlemen! Tonight, I am Freida, your host. And may we welcome our guest, the head journalist of BCK, Mr. Edwin Salazar!
  • Good Evening, Frieda! I'm honoured to be invited here.
  • Mr. Edwin, I've heard that you were awarded the best journalist in International Journalism Festival. How do you feel?
  • You must have been ecstatic. We are so proud of your achievement.
  • You know, Frieda, that night was the best night I've ever had in my entire life. After two decades, It was a great feat that I would share to my grandchildren.
  • You have been writing news for more than two decades already, what do you think is the hardest part of your job?
  • I totally agree with that, Mr. Edwin. Fake news no matter good or bad is still a fake news.
  • I think the hardest is being able to deliver accurate and reliable news to our citizens. Because today, news travel really fast that it could either make or break someone. Fake news has become a global problem
  • Do you think, fake news also has benefits?
  • Yes, as a journalist, we have to be really careful of what we write and say because news is such a powerful way to inform everyone. We can never take back whatever we publish.
  • That is indeed true, Mr. Edwin. I noticed my children acting that way. I always remember to by properly educate them.
  • It does somehow. Because now that fake news is everywhere, the viewers could participate to correct the misinformation. It is also possible for them to see the truth by listening to both sides of stories.
