- Cats evolved with fur because they came from colder places or temperate places where they need warmth in the night or during the day
- Like any other species, cats started to travel to other places
- The warmer areas they got to, the more fur the started shedding or the less fur they started to need
- Naturally the cats started to get in more desert areas and overheated a lot
- The cats getting too hot shredded way more fur to the point that it was so short and tin it wasn't even needed.
- The cats eventually evolved to have no hair, thus the Sphynx was labeled as a new species.
